1Arrive Kochi

• Today on arrival at Kochi airport / railway station, you will be warmly welcomed and escorted to your premium hotel. • Check into your comfortable accommodation and unwind. • Kochi (formerly Cochin), is a fascinating city on the north Kerala coast and is now one of India’s largest ports as well as an important naval base. • This afternoon begin your exploration around Fort Kochi, the most historic part of the city. • Begin at the church of St Francis, the oldest European-built church in India. • Continue to the Jewish Quarter where you visit the historic synagogue, built over 400 years ago. • It contains beautiful Belgian glass chandeliers and is paved with hand painted tiles from China. • Also visit the Dutch Palace at Mattancherry. • It was built in 1555 and its coronation hall and the murals painted are noteworthy features. • Your next stop will be the Chinese Fishing Nets. • The cantilevered nets strung out along the tip of the peninsula are used by local fishermen for catching fish. • In the evening enjoy a Kathakali dance performance at a local theatre. • The most spectacular form of dance-drama in India, the origins of Kathakali go back 500 years. • Note: Entry ticket to Kathakali Show is not included in our package.

2- Kochi – Munnar

• Breakfast at the hotel (Fixed Menu / Buffet). • Today you will be driven to tea country of Munnar(Approximately 128 kilometers, 4 hour drive), a magnificent hill station in the Western Ghats, situated at a height of about 1,700 metres above sea level. • It is surrounded by about 30 tea estates and is the major centre of Kerala's tea industry. • The hills around Munnar are covered with the rare Neelakurunji plant giving it a rich purplish-blue tinge, especially when the flowers bloom to cover the entire mountain range. • It is said that this exotic plant blooms flowers once in every 12 years. • Check into your comfortable accommodation and unwind. • Later in the aafternoon, visit the nearby tea plantations surrounding a lake that offers some of the most stunning views of the region.

3– Munnar-----local/Sightseeing

• After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing. • Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. • This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. • Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. • Aafternoon proceed to Rajamalai were the rarest species of mountain goat,.

4Munnar--------Thekkady

• After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (04 Hrs); on arrival check in to the hotel. • Proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady - one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves. • The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. • Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. • Optional activities like Boating at Periyar Lake, Spice Plantation visit and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost. • Overnight stay is arranged in Thekkady.

5Thekkady--------Alleppey

• After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. • Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. • Check in time is 01:00 PM and cruise starts with lunch. • While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the swaying coconut groves. • Food will be served on board. • Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in the houseboat.

6Alleppey------ Kochi (Drop)

• After breakfast check out from the Hotel and drive to Trivandrum Airport / railway station (depend on your departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in the God's Own Country.
